I praise bullet points because they give me a chance to give a much-needed update without having to be coherent or too detailed. Bless them.
- I am in my first semester of the nursing program at BYU. I really do love it and I am so grateful that I made it in. It is hard and sleep depriving--hello class at 7:20?--but I am learning to adjust. Probably the hardest thing is remembering that it's not often socially acceptable to talk about bodily functions? I get wayyy to comfortable talking about stool and urine samples in lab and I often forget to turn off the nursing lingo in the real world. There I go again.
- I went to New York! It was a short trip with my brother who's film made it into the Gotham City Film Festival. He's so cultured, no? It was the most impulsive thing I have ever done but SO MUCH FUN! A more detailed post will come.
- I have made the decision to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know it is something I am supposed to do and I couldn't be more excited! I am hoping to finish the papers soon so I can get my call-hopefully I will leave after this semester.
